Finextra hits three million milestone

Editorial

This content has been selected, created and edited by the Finextra editorial team based upon its relevance and interest to our community.

The milestone figure of 3.13 million page views from more than 115,000 unique visitors came as Finextra's worldwide membership turned to the site for the latest news, comment and opinion on the global financial markets crisis.

The real-time Finextra newswire service has tracked all the major developments in financial technology markets over the course of the past decade and now plays host to a historical archive of 40,000+ news and company announcements.

Our daily e-mail newsletters and subject-specific flashmail news services continue to grow in popularity and our online jobs board and weekly newsletter is increasingly relied upon as a valuable careers resource by Finextra members.

Finextra is also forging closer links to its global member network through our thriving community platform, where members can load a profile, connect and communicate with their peers using a private messaging system, join special interest groups and post their views to the wider community through a personal blog. So far, up to 1500 of our members have posted an active profile and live traffic to the Finextra Community platform has ticked up accordingly, racking up 0.2 million page views in October alone.

Other recent advances include the development of our proprietary market data index, which ranks and tracks the performance of leading fintech companies worldwide, and our expanding multimedia archive, featuring live video interviews with leading market participants.

Offline, our burgeoning events portfolio - including the Finexpo and Innovation series, and our annual European payments forum EBAday - operates as a highly effective mechanism for face-to-face networking, stringent debate and insightful analysis of major market trends.

As ever, we're continuing to refine the business in response to community feedback. There are plenty of exciting new initiatives in the pipeline which we'll be rolling out over the coming months.

Until then, Finextra would like to thank all of its members, friends and staff for your continued support over the years.
