Florida-based Raymond James Financial has signed a three year contract with Thomson Financial for the supply of online stock market quote information, news and company fundamentals.
Under the agreement, Raymond James Financial will populate its proprietary systems - including its Web portal for financial advisors and client facing trading applications - with Thomson's real-time and delayed pricing data and company fundamentals.
The content is delivered through Thomson's Dataworks suite, which comprises of data feeds, APIs and bulk data facilities covering the full range of the vendor's content from a single delivery platform.
Nancy Wehrman, vice president of client technology support, Raymond James Financial, says the decision to go with the Thomson feed was based on the quality and breadth of content and scalability of the system.
