London-based market data technology vendor Knowledge Technology Solutions (KTS) has appointed Thomson Financial's Kellie Green and Benoit Louis and Hemscott's Theo Apostolov to its sales team.
Green has been appointed account manager at KTS, handling existing client accounts. She was previously an account consultant at Thomson Financial, dealing with a cross section of City institutions.
Louis joins KTS as a senior sales executive. He previously spent almost four years working in new business development at Thomson Financial. Prior to this he was an assistant product manager at Reuters.
Apostolov was at Hemscott for two and half years where he worked on new business sales of referential historical financial information. He has also worked in new business for IS Innovative Software and FT.com.
He also joins KTS as a senior sales executive. Both Louis and Apostolov will be be selling the vendor's UK news and market data service, QuoteTerminal, as well as international service, MarketTerminal, which is currently in beta trials.
The new recruits will be based at KTS's recently opened City office.
