ACE Software Solutions is adding payments routing information from TFP - formerly Thomson Financial Publishing - to its STP Toolkit.
Under the agreement, ACE's STP Toolkit will deploy the Thomson Global Payment File and Thomson Iban File. The TFP data includes Swift/BIC identifiers, Chips numbers and national clearing codes for over 35 countries and principalities. Additionally, the data delivers mappings for various messaging formats based on known correspondent relationships by currency.
Al Danino, commercial director of ACE, says: "The use of TFP's data with our software will enable clients to achieve further cost efficiencies in payment processing and increase payment STP."
Seperately, US-based Bottomline Technologies has also added TFP's Iban and Global Payment Files to its WebSeries Payments product line under an initiative designed to help banks streamline the processing of cross-border funds transfers.
