Mashable points me to news that Michael Feser, a senior exec at E*Trade Financial, is to join the admirably funded ($35 million at last count) online broking 'community', Zecco. Feser was previously VP Customer Services at E*Trade, the PR is here.
Have to admit I hadn't come across Zecco before. Their 'about' section uses the C-word a lot: Community. At the moment, from the site, it seems more like an online brokerage, with some community bits added around the edges. But in the usual fashion, apparently this is just the beta. Doubtless we'll know more when they unveil what that $35m was spent on.
