NCR targets mid-tier financial firms

NCR Corporation is to form a community bank sales division to focus on the mid-tier financial industry market in the US.
NCR says the new team will focus on ATM software and services that support credit unions, thrifts, financial institutions and bank entities.
Tom Conroy, NCR area vice president for this new sales group within the financial solutions division, comments: "The new Community Bank alignment allows us to strategically focus additional resources and confirms our commitment to this very important segment of the financial industry."
The division will also be responsible for managing relationships with NCR's value-added reseller partners.
