NCR wins $6.7m Turkish ATM services contract

NCR has signed a $6.7 million multi-year contract with Turkey's Yapi Kredi Bank (YKB) to provide hardware maintenance and support services for the bank's Personas automated teller machines (ATMs).

Alpaslan Özlü, general manager of Yapi Kredi technology, says: "The decision to go with NCR was made on the basis of our previous experience with the company and the channel-management offer it proposed."

The bank currently has over 420 domestic branches, a network of 1,370 ATMs and handles 30 per cent of Turkey's credit card business.
