Nationwide is running an ATM ad campaign to promote a new Jim Carey movie over busy cash machines sited at Asda supermarket stores across the UK.

Nationwide ATMs to screen Christmas blockbuster

The movie, 'Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events' opens on 17 December, and will be promoted via full-screen video sequences and printed receipts. The campaign went live at 146 ATMs from 10 December and will run for 10 days.

The ad will utilise four separate ATM:ad modules. A 10 second ‘Attract’ sequence which continuously loops and features film animation prior to a customer inserting their card, a minimum five-second ‘in-transaction’ sequence while the customer waits for their cash or other service, a parting thank-you message and printed receipt featuring the promo still.

The campaign was organised for UIP by ZenithOptimedia’s outdoor specialist arm, Meridian Outdoor.
