The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is giving away £60,000 in cash prizes to users of its national network of cash machines.
Six 'golden tickets' worth £10,000 each are being randomly loaded into the bank's UK network of 1,359 cash machines between 21 November and 7 December 2003.
Benny Higgins, chief executive, retail banking, RBS, says the cash machine give-away is a way of recognising all those people who consistently use the bank's machines.
"Last year, a staggering 100 million people visited Royal Bank cash machines withdrawing a total of £5.7 billion, with an average withdrawal of £56.00 per person," says Higgins.
RBS says it has one of the most comprehensive ATM networks in Britain, with machines located as far north as the Shetland Isles and as far south as Cornwall.
