Abbey National Treasury Services installs Syntegra's ITS Myriad at London HQ

Abbey National Treasury Services (ANTS) is rolling out Syntegra's collaborative trading system, ITS Myriad, to 25 positions at its London headquarters.

Syntegra's ITS Myriad is designed to integrate multiple channels - such as voice, Web, instant messaging, e-mail and mobile - and delivers data sourced from existing in-house and third-party systems to the user's desktop.

The product will source and utilise data from Whittaker Garnier's Client Management System (CMS) - Abbey's existing customer relationship management (CRM) system which integrates with Microsoft Outlook.

ITS Myriad will immediately identify the client and gather relevent data - such as past transactions and current limit position - from CMS. The information will automatically be available to traders and sales staff to support both incoming and outgoing calls. The system also provides provides users with a call report that can be completed at the end of a call as well as details of any missed calls.

Richard Williams, Abbey National financial products, director, ANTS, says: "By integrating the information from the trader's desktop and turret, ITS Myriad is the next logical step in terms of technology advancement on the trading floor.

"It will help us maximise the value of both the turrets and our existing CRM system and give our customers a truly personalised service."

The system is scheduled to go live at the end of October 2003.

This project follows the implementation of a turnkey solution at Abbey's London premises in December 2002, incorporating 130 of Syntegra's pV405Hi turrets and Cisco's Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data (AVVID) network.
