ING-CHB Securities Investment & Trust, a joint venture between ING Asset Management and Taiwan's Chung Hwa Bank, has implemented Thomson Financial's portfolio management solution Portia.

Portia is a front-to-back office solution that provides flexible reporting, support for all security types, multi-currency capabilities and real-time processing.

Mike Ferrer, director, investment management, ING-CHB, says Portia provides the firm with a single investment management platform for its discretionary and mutual fund operations.

ING also uses the system across a number of other locations in the Asia Pacific region.
