SunGard Trading and Risk Systems has appointed Dean Jovic to the newly created position of group managing director, risk management/Basel II.
In his new role, Jovic will be responsible for developing, implementing and promoting the vendor's Basel II initiatives.
Jovic was previously vice president and head of risk consulting at SunGard's Switzerland-based ALM and risk consulting firm AlmafinJaeger.
Before joining SunGard in 1999, he worked for UBS, Coutts & Co and Arthur Andersen.
