Yamner & Co, a New Jersey-based institutional agency sell-side broker dealer, has selected SunGard Business Integration's FIX Engine for real-time execution and settlement via the FIX protocol.
Yamner is utilising the FIX messaging standard to connect its proprietary and third-party order management and routing systems to counterparties, including ECNs, primary and regional listed exchanges and major market makers.
Steve Goldman, CEO, Yamner, says the Sungard package integrates with backend and middleware packages efficiently and the firm was able to implement the solution in less that a week.
In addition, Yamner says it has recommended the application to several clients, offering its order management package on a soft-dollar basis for interested buy-side firms.
