Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has partnered 724 Solutions to launch a suite of alert products that automate the way banks notify customers about account activity.
The products are based on technology developed by 724 Solutions and allow firms to alert customers across multiple communication channels - including e-mail, automated voice and text messaging - about account overdrafts, suspicious activity, balances, payment due dates, late payments and credit limits.
David Blanton, president of Banking Solutions, CSC's financial services group, says: "By automating the notification process, financial institutions can send tens of thousands of messages an hour, cutting more than 80% of the costs associated with traditional channels."
CSC has integrated the alerts with its Hogan Integrated Deposits and Loans product and Card & Merchant System (Cams II). Hogan BankAlert notifies customers of deposit and loan account activities, such as overdrafts, loan due dates and payroll deposits while CAMS II CardAlert notifies customers about credit card conditions such as bill due dates and over-limit balances.
The vendor also provides hosting and management services for the applications through its eHub facilities.
