Thomson Financial Ventures has taken an equity stake in New York-based Kestrel Technologies, a provider of front office trading systems for the global securities industry.
The investment follows a licensing and distribution agreement that allows the company to re-brand and sell Kestrel's RAPTr product to the institutional buy-side community.
RAPTr-NT streamlines the trading process by automating and integrating front office functions into back-office trade processing, settlement and reporting.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
