First Call Analyst first component of Thomson Dashboard

Thomson Financial has introduced First Call Analyst - a new Web-based investment research and analytical tool for institutional investors.

The tool combines a clients’ own data with real-time institutional content from Thomson Financial and relevant third parties. First Call Analyst also offers management tools, filters, advanced charting and portfolio analytics, with full export capability to Microsoft Excel. The product combines the user's in-house estimates and research with those from the sell-side.

First Call Analyst is the first component of Thomson Dashboard, a new suite of customisable and inter-operable investment-oriented programmes brought together on a single interface. Thomson Dashboard components represent each phase of the investment process from decision support, stock selection and research and analysis, to trade execution and settlement.

First Call Analyst has initially been released to a selected group of institutional clients, with a global launch planned for January 2002.
