SunGard Trading and Risk Systems has appointed Paul Murphy and Steve Husk as presidents of the company's Collateral and Credient/Infinity operating units, respectively.
Both Murphy and Husk will report to Jim Ashton, chief executive officer of SunGard Trading and Risk Systems.
Paul Murphy previously led the SunGard collateral team while at Synamic Ltd, prior to its sale to SunGard in 1999. He has also held senior positions at Misys, Logica and City Practitioners.
Steven Husk joins SunGard from Iris Financial Engineering where he was managing director and chief executive. He has previously worked at Oracle and Sybase. Between 1994 and 1999 Husk was senior vice president of Infinity Financial Technology, before the subsequent re-branding to SunGard Trading and Risk Systems.
SunGard is also reporting Joshua Levy, former founder and head of sales at currency-ECN Matchbook FX has joined STN Treasury, the SunGard Transaction Network's FX and money-market trading and STP venture. Levy joined SunGard in September as head of sales for the Americas, reporting to Shawn McMorran, the London-based president of STN Treasury.
