Norwegian export credit agency, Eksportfinans, has chosen technology from SunGard Trading and Risk Systems for the straight-through processing of its treasury operations.
The government and bank-backed instititution says it will implement SunGard's Panorama product for integrated market and credit risk management, including limits management, to replace its existing legacy solution which can no longer handle increasing transaction volumes.
Mai-Lill Ibsen, deputy chief executive officer of Eksportfinans, notes: "With one solution, we can achieve straight-through processing, support for complex derivatives, integrated market and credit risk analysis, global credit limit management and a flexible and extensible architecture that can support future growth."
