I-design's ATM:ad technology allows banks and other ATM network owners to deliver marketing and advertising campaigns over their networks.

The vendor says its ATM:ad media sales arm, which is solely dedicated to selling ATM advertising space on behalf of network owners, has been generating significant commercial advertising revenues for clients since June 2004.

Ana Stewart, managing director at i-design, says: "This second round of funding will enable us to capitalise on the increasing demand for ATM:ad both in the UK and across Europe. In addition, it will allow us to accelerate the expansion of our media sales operation in London."

The firm received an initial £250,000 investment from Sigma Technology in November 2004.
