Australian FIX engine vendor Cameron Systems has named Peter Cooper as its new chief executive officer.
Cooper most recently headed systems development across a range of product sets for Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to to this Cooper held executive positions at Rothschilds, Macquarie Bank and the Australian Stock Exchange.
Cooper takes over from Cameron Systems's acting co-CEO's John Cameron and Martin Koopman.
Cameron, the firm's founder and chairman, will now focus on his CTO responsibilities with overall responsibility for the company's technology development globally. Koopman will continue in his role as commercial director, with particular focus on the North Americas region.
