Saudi Arabia's Riyad Bank has contracted with US-based Diebold for the supply of 100 Opteva cash machines.
The bank has purchased a mix of Diebold Opteva 720 advanced-function lobby ATMs and Opteva 740 through-the-wall, drive-up cash machines. Both run on Diebold's multi-vendor software, Agilis.
The Opteva ATMs were sold and supplied to Riyad Bank by Dieobld's local partner Alhamrani Universal Company.
The new cash machines will be rolled out this month to extend Riyad Bank's existing network of 650 ATMs.
Diebold says the bank also plans to implement its bundled cash deposit automation technology, which will enable customers to deposit cash directly into accounts.
