Komercni Banka (KB), a Societe Generale subsidiary based in the Czech Republic, is implementing technology and services from Dublin-based banking component software vendor Eontec, along with IBM and Unicorn, to revamp its branch network.
Eontec will work with IBM to deliver its module-based retail banking system, Branch, that the bank will use to support branch, telehone and online banking channels.
The vendor says the system will enable KB to transform branches into financial sales and service centres.
The Branch system integrates multi-channel banking services, assembled from process-driven J2EE components with real-time customer information. staff are then presented with customer data in an easy-to-read format. KB will also use the technology to develop and manage new functionality.
Aristoteles Kabarganos, MD, Eontec Central Europe, says: "We are working closely with IBM and Unicorn to ensure that KB will have the technology backbone to enhance their existing systems and deploy a comprehensive customer-focused branch solution that will satisfy the bank's current and future needs.
"By implementing Eontec Branch, KB will benefit from a highly flexible branch solution, customised to their individual requirements whilst ensuring a consistent customer experience across all channels."
