Microsoft has appointed Gordon Ejsmond-Frey to the newly created role of insurance industry specialist at its EMEA financial services division.
Ejsmond-Frey joins Microsoft from Misys where he was director, multi channel solutions.
Prior to this Ejsmond-Frey worked at the business technology office of McKinsey where he specialised in strategic IT advice and solution implementation for a range of blue chip insurance and retail banking clients.
He has also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he led the insurance and asset management IT consulting practice.
In his new role Ejsmond-Frey will be responsible for defining Microsoft's strategy for the insurance industry across EMEA.
