Bank One connects cash management services to Microsoft's Great Plains

Bank One has introduced Integrated Cash Management Solutions, a package of software and banking service that connects its cash management service to Microsoft Business Solution's Great Plains system.
Integrated Cash Management Solutions provides instant connectivity between Bank One customers using Microsoft Great Plains 7.5, automating the transmission of banking and accounting information.
The package automates cash management functions including the transfer of electronic payments, cheque payments, electronic collections and receivables reporting. It also adds new Bank One services such as cheque outsourcing, which enables cheque issuing and distribution for Microsoft Great Plains users.
Kathleen Nugent, senior vice president and head of product development, Bank One, says: "Integrated Cash Management Solutions significantly reduces the time required to manage critical business processes, which is an immediate improvement in payables and receivables management for the customer."
