California-based Traiana says the products will provide SG CIB with straight-through-processing (STP) and client servicing functionality. SG CIB will initially roll out the products at its New York office.

The TRM system automates the post-trade through settlement lifecycle and provides clients with reports and real-time analytics to monitor trade status, credit and margin utilisation and positions. The Harmony application works in conjunction with TRM to streamline the give-up trades between prime brokers and executing brokers.

Jay Green, head of e-commerce at SG CIB's New York office, says: "We are investing in our global institutional sales capabilities and realise that technology plays a crucial role in our client service."
