The UK's Barclays Bank has licensed the corporate account and deposit applications from TietoEnator's PBS core banking suite.

This latest contract expands an existing agreement between the UK bank and the Nordic vendor for related applications and services.

TietoEnator says Barclays will use the software to reduce the time-to-market for new products and lower operating costs under its 'customer liquidity management programme'.
