Behold Sex Panther

I was sent an e-mail today with the cryptic subject line: Behold sex panther!

What could it all mean?

Probably a reference to some dodgy video porno site or compromised Web server, I thought.

So, naturally, I clicked on the link…and was instantly transported back to the Sibos party at the Boston Convention centre, when six young men with boy band good looks took to the karaoke stage for a priceless rendition of the Starland Vocal Band’s ‘Afternoon delight’.

The video quality leaves a lot to be desired, and it’s hard to see exactly who’s on stage, but if you look closely enough you may just about be able to make out two shameless Finextra staffers, Nick Hastings on lead vocals and Tom (the kid) Edwards doing the falsetto harmonies on the far left.

They even did an encore; which sadly (or thankfully, depending on your perspective) wasn't recorded for posterity.

Yes we certainly rocked the Sibos party. A special thanks to my fellow band mates:

Dan and Nick from Penrose
Alan at the Banker
Mike from Global Investment Technology
Plus who can forgot the heavenly vocal stylings of The Kid
And of course big thanks to our manager Daniel from the EBA

Special mention to the ladies at BankersAlmanac - nice filming!

Finally thanks to all our fans - you're the reason why we keep on rocking!

Keep an eye out for our tour dates and see you in Vienna! Luckily we're big in Austria - in fact we toured with David Hasseloff there just last year!

Thanks Pete, we're more about folk-rock fusion than the guys in Australia - still good to see they have an album. We're hoping to get ours out for the Christmas market. You can get more details from our manager.
