Up-skilling - at work and at home

I had the pleasure to deliver a Trust Infrastructure&AI-agent presentation yesterday to a group of retired leaders from enterprises and the public sectors.

I was very impressed by their enthusiasm and so many good searching questions.

Several asked why this huge opportunity for easier life for both citizens and businesses is getting so little media coverage. Despite the fact that mandatory EU-legislation will deliver Identity building wallets for citizens at the latest next year (the markets doing it already today.)  And the wallets being foundational now also when employing organisational and personal AI-agents (where all the hype is now).  I have been asking the same.

So we need up-skilling both for media and all of us.

  •  First of all we need eye-opening lists of all the credentials (not only drivers licenses) citizens will get to their and their employers’ wallets. To understand how stress-relieving it will be to get (and send) all data in the same way and be able to trust it.
  •  In parallel the men on the streets should be encouraged to explore LLMs. To get answers and even more importantly to ask the next question and then the next.. What a learning machine it is already now. Excellent answers also about the symbitic relationship between the ID-building wallet and the AI-agents...
  • Then we all must see to it that our public sectors first and customer service minded enterprises (especially progressive banks) in parallel (and then all) start sending and receiving identity building credentials - by right away deploying organisation wallets from the markets.
  • Then we have the safe and easy way to employ - at work and at home - identifiable organisational and personal AI-agents. We can then give them tasks to find and keep protected the strongly verified and other data for our ID-wallets - needed in our organisation’s business and for out personal life events.

Both halfs of the coin - the IDwallet and the AI-agent are general purposes tools - so the levers: economy of repetition (skilling) across roles and tasks, the economy of reuse, the economy of trust, economy of scope and scale - will be enormous. And so practical: User testing: opening a bank account for a business
