Fiserv appoints Sunil Sachdev country manager, India markets

Fiserv (NASDAQ: FISV), the leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, announced today that Sunil Sachdev has joined the company as Country Manager, India Markets.

In this new role, Sunil is responsible for business development in India leveraging the Fiserv customer access, product suite and delivery capabilities to cater to the growing Indian market. He reports to Shrihari Gokhale, President, Fiserv India and Fiserv Global Services.

"Sunil brings a proven track record in building high performing teams in developed and emerging markets, and we welcome his contributions and leadership to Fiserv."

Sunil came to Fiserv from American Express where he was Vice President, Business Development, Emerging Payments and New Ventures. In this capacity, Sunil was responsible for the creation and implementation of business development strategies for diversifying American Express business model in India. Prior to this role, Sunil was the Vice President, Market Head of India and Area for Global Merchant Services. His responsibilities included building business with existing merchant establishments, acquiring new merchants onto the network and ensuring welcome acceptance by working closely with all American Express card issuers.

Sunil holds a bachelor's degree from Hofstra University, New York and received a Masters in Science in Information Systems (MSIS) from Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey.
