City Equities, a UK equity dealing firm focusing on the smaller companies sector, has signed up to Knowledge Technology Solutions' financial news and data service QuoteTerminal.
QuoteTerminal is a thin client system that doesn't require dedicated terminals and can be accessed via a standard PC with an Internet connection.
In addition, customers do not need to install any IT infrastructure on-site or any software on PCs, reducing the cost of the system and its on-going maintenance and support.
KTS says QuoteTerminal allows City firms to cut market data costs without having to compromise on the quality of the data or the reliability of the service received.
