UK private client manager J O Hambro Investment Management (Johim) has signed an agreement with SunGard Investment Management Systems to adapt the Apsys III multi-currency portfolio accounting package for the UK market.
Johim has been using SunGard's ePal solution for over fourteen years. The firm now plans to implement Apsys III in the UK to cover multi-currency needs and generation of orders, Web-based reporting, and to achieve better automation with internal and external straight-through processing. The company also expects that a more modern database will enable it to support higher volumes.
Under the implementation, the existing functionality of ePAL will be integrated into the UK compliant version of Apsys III.
