Sanchez Computer Associates is the latest vendor to join IBM's PartnerWorld for Developers Programme which calls for the joint marketing and sales of banking and financial services solutions on a worldwide basis.
Under the agreement, Sanchez will lead with the IBM pSeries eServer and IBM middleware products by integrating its Profile suite of applications with Big Blue's application framework for e-business technologies, including: DB2, WebSphere, MQSeries and Tivoli systems management software. Additionally, IBM will provide consulting, customisation and integration services for joint IBM and Sanchez solutions.
Sanchez recently benchmarked Profile/Anyware on IBM's new copper-based pSeries eServer and recorded a breakthrough 1200 transactions per second in an on-line, real-time environment, say the companies.
Other Profile products included in the agreement are Profile for Windows, Profile/Application Tools and Profile/FMS (Financial Management System).
Sanchez is the fortieth third party vendor to join PartnerWorld for Developers, an IBM initiative to provide a a technology roadmap based on industry standards that helps developers integrate Internet technologies with traditional information technology.
