UK derivatives software vendor Future Dynamics has appointed Mark Bohannon as senior vice president of its US subsidiary.
Bohannon previously worked for trading software vendor Patsystems. Prior to this he was VP of operations at risk management firm FC Stone and has also worked in back office processing at Index Futures.
In his new role, Bohannon will be based in Chicago and will report directly to Furture Dynamics CEO Stephen Grob.
Separately, brokerage house Cube Financial has licensed Future Dynamics' middle office product, Viewpoint, to manage its clearing exposure.
Viewpoint matches and allocates trades post-execution through a single screen. Give-ups, give-ins and cleared business can be managed and the process automated for derivatives exchanges including Liffe/Euronext, Eurex, Cbot and CME.
