The board of directors of Nordic IT services group EDB Business Partner has appointed Endre Rangnes as CEO, effective 1 June 2003.
Rangnes has been managing director of IBM Norway since 1999, having joined the firm in 1984.
He is also chairman of the board of the trade association ICT Norway and a member of the Norwegian government's consultative committee for ICT issues.
EDB Business Partners parted company with previous CEO Bjørn Trondsen at the end of last year after disappointing results led to the group shedding 185 staff.
