Eagle Investment Systems is joining the burgeoning reference data software market with the launch of a new standalone data cleansing and workflow product.
Eagle Reference Manager is designed to help financial services firms consolidate, translate, validate and disseminate clean and accurate security reference data throughout their enterprise, says the Mellon Bank technology subsidiary.
The package creates a central repository for managing and distributing internal and third party data feeds. Data is scrubbed and cleansed, and exceptions repaired and validated as needed using workflow tools and procedures.
In addition to supporting internal straight-through processing, the system can help firms reduce costs associated with managing disparate data vendors and grow their business without compromising the quality of information, says Eagle.
