The interface, which will be jointly delivered by the firms, will move investment data that has been validated, cleansed and transformed within Eagle Pace into Charles River's systems. In addition the interface will accommodate changes to the source data within Eagle Pace.

Eagle says by building a state-of-the-art interface with the Charles River systems, it can offer clients a fully connected front-to back-office investment management solution.

Peter Lambertus, president and CEO, Charles Rivers, adds that the link "will benefit our clients by keeping the systems in sync on a daily and intraday basis, as well as ensuring they have complete and accurate data right from the start."

Phase one of the interface is scheduled to be released in Q2 2003 and includes the communicating and processing of security master files, account holdings, pricing and other security analytics data between Eagle and Charles River.

Phase two, which is expected to be completed this year, will include integrated job scheduling, reporting, compliance rule assignments, and the receipt of trades from the Charles River trading system into Eagle Pace.
