Thomson Financial has added corporate events data to Web-based research service First Call Analyst.
The First Call Events service tracks information from 5500 public companies worldwide. It offers institutional money managers and IR professionals earnings release and conference call event details, live and archived corporate Webcasts, live conference call transcripts and summaries, and related financial information such as economic events.
Buy-side investment managers can access the service via First Call Analyst. Investment firms also have the option to integrate the information into existing Web-based systems using an XML data feed. Corporate investor relations professionals can access First Call Events via the IRChannel.com v.3 financial portal.
Seperately, Thomson Financial has announced the sale of its Global Consulting Group to London PR firm Huntsworth, under a programme to shed non-core businesses.
