Reuters has announced that Unilever chief Niall FitzGerald will join its board as a non-executive director on 1 January 2003.

The company also announced the resignation, effective today, of Dennis Malamatinas as a non-executive director.

Malamatinas is joining Marfin Bank in Greece as co-CEO and member of the board.
