In his new role, Walsh will help expand the company's operations across the UK and Europe.

Walsh was one of the founders and an executive director of UK financial software company, The Software Partnership. Following the multi-million dollar private sale of The Software Partnership to a US Fortune 500 corporation, Walsh has taken on a number of chairmanships and non-executive board positions with emerging software companies serving the finance sector.

Walsh comments: "Level Four have the right products at the right time to grow a substantial business in the ATM and POS marketplace, particularly with the imminent introduction of EMV smart cards. Having developed their products in response to the direct needs of a small number of demanding UK banks, they now have solutions to problems which all banks currently face."

Level Four's flagship product is the ATM Channel Development Suite - a toolkit for financial institutions to develop, test and deploy new content and applications within their ATM delivery channels.
