BNP Paribas Equities is introducing Siebel eFinance Sales to 750 sales, marketing, and service staff worldwide in an effort to unite customer and product information across multiple geographies, markets, and channels of communication - including face-to-face, email, and telephone.

Laurent Cadieu, head of European equities, BNP Paribas, says the bank chose the Siebel institutional finance package because of its out-of-the-box connectivity and ability to provide an effective e-business sultion quickly.

He says the technology will provide sales staff with actionable information regarding individual customer spending and investment priorities, adding: "To improve BNP Paribas' position in equities, the bank must mobilise innovative means of targeting, acquiring, and retaining customers."
