MasterCard and Europay have merged their individual vendor programmes to offer a single global resource for application providers and card issuers alike.
Participants in the MasterCard Vendor Programme have access to technical information and support, as well as business and product briefings from a variety of sources within the MasterCard and Europay organisations. This includes latest updates from the operations, chip, mobile commerce, e-commerce and debit teams.
“MasterCard’s goal with MVP was to make it easier for our members to build partnerships with vendors in a rapidly-changing payments environment,” says Jerry McElhatton, senior executive vice president, MasterCard International.
More than 75 vendors currently participate in the programme. As participants they have the right to carry the MVP identifier on Web sites and marketing collateral.
