Under the agreement, IBM and Peregrine will work together on joint marketing, collaborative selling, implementation services, software integration and performance optimisation, worldwide.

Peregrine's AssetCenter, ServiceCenter and Get-It software applications will be optimised for IBM DB2 database software running on IBM eServer pSeries, xSeries and zSeries computing platforms. In addition, Peregrine's Get-It application will integrate with IBM WebSphere Portal Server and will leverage the IBM WebSphere Application Server. Integration capabilities for the WebSphere MQ family of products and Lotus and Tivoli software will be further optimised.

Gary Bullard, general manager, global solutions, IBM, says: "As a leader in infrastructure management technology, Peregrine solutions represent an important addition to IBM's offerings."
