Bank of the West has implemented InteliData's Interpose Web banking system as a first step toward offering full electronic bill payment and presentment to customers.
The California-based bank, and its sister institution First Hawaiian Bank, have also agreed to implement InteliData's next-generation EBPP system, InteliWorks CSP, which enables the banks to connect to the Spectrum network, MasterCard RPPS, and other payment networks.
Customers will be able to use the system to receive many of their bills at the bank Web site and pay out on a real time basis.
