Under the agreement, League Data will offer credit union customers Eontec’s e-Mortgage solution, an on-line mortgage application processing system that includes rate quotation, loan origination and tracking services. League Data will also employ Eontec’s branch solution which supports over-the-counter activity at branches including security, cash flow analysis and customer profiling.

Additionally, League Data proposes to implement an integrated sales and service module which links front and back-office solutions on one integrated platform. This is designed to deliver up-selling and cross-selling functions so as to maximise face-to-face interactions at the branch.

League Data officials cite a key objective for its work with Eontec as the need to replace existing proprietary solutions with an open application framework.

“By implementing an EJB component-based solution, we hope to reduce system support costs and employee training time while offering more intuitive, standard and consistent interfaces with our back-end solutions,” says Steve Mills, SVP & COO at League Data. “Eontec is helping us to construct a solution that allows us to centralise as much processing as possible in one location and still provide the same response time for core transactions.”

League Data currently processes 38 million transactions per year on behalf of 75 credit unions at 137 locations throughout Atlantic Canada.
