Dublin-based multi-channel banking software vendor Eontec has opened a new office in Tokyo, Japan to support existing and new business across the Asia Pacific region.
David Jones has been appointed managing director of the Asia/Pacific operation and will be responsible for building awareness and driving Eontec's development programme at a strategic level.
Jones will also head up the organisation's subsidiary office in Singapore and lead sales, marketing and partner activity throughout Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Greater China.
Prior to joining Eontec, Jones headed up the Asia Pacific division of Cognotec. He has also worked for SunGard Capital Markets and Misys.
