Back office systems supplier Wilco International has appointed Elizabeth Lake as chief executive officer, replacing outgoing postholder Stephen Bloomer.
Lake joins Wilco from KPMG where she was a partner for financial services, responsible for strengthening KPMG’s EMA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) division’s financial services consulting capabilities, as well as senior client relationship management. She has also held senior executive positions at CSC Index and Ziff-Davis Technical Information Company.
In her new role, Lake has responsibility for all aspects of Wilco's business worldwide. She is based at the vendor’s international headquarters in the UK.
Wilco says that erstwhile CEO Bloomer has quit the firm to "pursue other business interests outside of the financial services IT sector".
