Wilco International has entered an alliance with Global Operations and Administration Ltd. (Goal) to provide corporate customers with a range of withholding tax services.
Under the agreement, Goal will become Wilco's preferred supplier for the reclaim aspects of withholding tax processing and for advanced qualified intermediary administration products and services.
Robin Kneale, product manager, Wilco International, says: "I am confident that Goal's expertise in withholding tax reclamation and QI areas will be of real value to our own relationships with clients who have corporate actions processing requirements."
Ross McGill, managing director of Goal, adds: "This agreement with Wilco is a very positive step towards expanding Goal's global reach."
Wilco's systems for corporate actions processing include the Gloss international trade processing and settlement system and Tarot, the UK retail stockbroking, asset management and custody system. Wilco has also developed a corporate actions system for its new high-volume Java platform.
