COR launches J2EE-conformant corporate banking platform

COR Financial Solutions's e-banking division has launched IBS Corporate, a java-based platform for multi-channel corporate banking.

Built to the java J2EE standard supported by Sun Microsystems, IBS Corporate uses a repository of re-usable Enterprise Java Bean (EJB) components to provide a bank's corporate customers with key functions and processes for conducting day-to-day business transactions, says the company, including a single and consolidated portfolio view of business customers.

The software can be integrated with existing ERP and accountancy packages including SAP, Sage and Pegasus, enabling straight-through processing. Additionally, single or multiple entry account transfers/payments - using Bacs, Swift and Chaps - are completed in real-time. The package uses three levels of security, including smart cards and Public Key Infrastructure to enable very high value payments.

Mark Hipperson, managing director, COR IBS, claims: "IBS Corporate rapidly provides banks with a flexible and customisable Internet banking service. It facilitates the delivery of new products and services to customers over this new channel and enables banks to adapt to changing market influences ahead of the competition."
