UK-based COR Systems has restructured its business to accommodate the recently acquired IBS-Global and plans for expansions into new markets.
As part of the overhaul, the company has rebranded as COR Financial Solutions "reflecting the broader market reach of its products, consultancy and services across the financial sector".
Two market-focused divisions have been formed, each offering specialist software, integration and consultancy services to a particular sector:
· COR's Investment Solutions (IS) division addresses the marketing and fund administration requirements of the retail investment industry through the CO-STARS suite of products. COR-IS is headed by Chris Kaye.
· COR's Internet Banking Solutions (IBS) division provides Java-based solutions for online commercial and retail banking over the internet. COR-IBS is headed by Mark Hipperson.
Steve Osborne, executive chairman, comments: "Following the acquisition of IBS-Global in September, we needed a structure which allowed us to meet the needs of differing markets and customers. In the new COR Financial Solutions, central corporate functions will be shared, whilst each division retains the freedom to develop, market and sell as best suits its sector."
COR currently employs 50 staff at its offices in London, Edinburgh and Eastleigh.
