The Helsinki stock exchange (HEX), has signed an agreement with Germany's IS Innovative Software for the marketing and distribution of market data services in the Nordic and Baltic regions.
HEX Global Market Information Service is based on technology developed by IS Innovative Software. It provides market information databases' maintenance and market information delivery through the Internet and other electronic delivery channels for its customers. The agreement between HEX and IS Innovative Software calls for joint marketing, implementation and hosting of market information services on behalf of investors and institutions in the region.
Jukka Ruuska, president and CEO of HEX Group, says the increasing amount of Finnish and international market information creates new challenges for managing information overload, for both institutions and private investors.
"We are committed to creating useful and understandable content out of this increasing market data," he says. "HEX as a comprehensive market information provider can benefit from economies of scale and thereby also guarantee technically and functionally premium services."
